In the first phase, The Terraces brought together a successful existing multi-level, enclosed shopping center, with a major open space as well as exterior lifestyle retail, food and beverage, and entertainment tenants opening the existing enclosed shopping center to the outdoors. A tropical resort in an urban setting, the project forms a shopping, dining and gathering oasis in the center of the business district of Cebu in the southern Philippines.

Phase Two completed the expansion with a new wing that houses an extensive combination of local Cebuano retailers and world-class offerings within a modern and graceful facade that personifies the cosmopolitan city. The overall ambiance is upscale but welcoming, reflective of the Cebuano culture— bright but warm lighting; high ceilings and wide hallways create a sense of airiness and spaciousness.

Together with the successful existing enclosed shopping center, as well as the surrounding hospitality, office, civic and high density residential buildings, The Terraces and the Ayala Center expansion provide the residents and visitors with a full range of shopping, dining and entertainment alternatives in a single block.
